Course description: |
This is a level 4 program in the new Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
Students will attend lectures, tutorials, seminars and group study sessions at the college. In addition, it is expected that at least 2 hours each day will be spent in private studies. Classes will vary and will include class-based instruction; self-study using computer assisted learning strategies, writing assessments and practical work in the labs.
Modules: The three compulsory subjects are:
- Introduction to Business
- Introduction to Quantitative Methods
- Introduction to Business Communication
Students must also pass one of the following options:
- Introduction to Accounting
- Introduction to Management Information Systems

- Four GCSE/GCE ‘O’ level/SCE, one of which should be in English and one in a Maths subject at grade A, B or C (for overseas students grades 1 to 6 Credits/Distinctions are considered equivalent)
- Intermediate HSC pass with good grades

- An honours degree from a UK university (minimum 2:2) in any subject,
