Diploma in First Line Management

This course is aimed at newly promoted first line managers; the Practical Manager course gives an excellent introduction to basic management skills. You can dip into individual courses or work towards widely recognised management qualifications.

IIf you wish to increase your understanding of modern management techniques, then this course will enable you to complete fifty different segments to give you a more comprehensive grounding in a wide range of management theory and practice

Course modules

The course consists of 31 core modules, together with a further 19 modules which you can choose from a wide range of subjects.

Certification

Diploma in First Line Management at Level three awarded by Institute of Leadership & Management.

To qualify for this certificate, students will need to achieve 37 credits. The programme required 160 hours of formal study and additional 100 hours for assessments and assignments. The course may be done with flexible study times, but we expect it to take a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 12 months to complete.

 
Entry Requirements

For EU students: There are no formal entry requirements, but this course is aimed at learners who are likely to become first line managers or who are already in post but have had little or no formal training. Learners must have Literacy and Numeracy skills to GCSE Level.

For International students: Applicant should have attained GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics & have demonstrated competence in the English up to level B2 of CEFR or IELTS minimum overall band score of 5.0.

 
Duration

1 Academic Year. 15 hours per week organised study at the training centre.
