The EFL department
What do I think is special
about MIC’s English Department?
We like to know our students are happy! The EFL department helps and supports international students who come to Manchester to study English on one of our courses. As the teachers and I have lived in foreign countries ourselves, we know it can be difficult.
Our courses are designed to ensure exposure and practice of the English skills you require, not only to make your stay in the UK more enjoyable, but to enable you to use English more confidently. With our variety of full-time and part-time courses, you will be able to choose a course that suits your needs and support and advice will be given throughout by qualified teachers. There are many other courses you can progress onto.
You will have access to our computer lab, MIC’s library where you can read books, watch DVDs and do any further practice you feel necessary and on a Friday you will be able to use the ‘self-study’ slot which is monitored by one of our qualified teachers. You may want to catch up on your homework, ask for extra help or simply use your time for further practice.
If you like socialising, MIC is the place for you. MIC offer a monthly social programme.
Come and join us!
