Course description: |
This is the academic equivalent to Year 1 of a UK university honours degree and is recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) as Level 4.
Students will attend lectures, tutorials, seminars and group study sessions at the college. In addition, it is expected that at least 2 hours each day will be spent in private studies. Classes will vary and will include class-based instruction; self-study using computer assisted learning strategies, writing assessments and practical work in the labs.

Entry requirements: |
- The applicants are expected to have a standard of general education equivalent to the UK GCE A level.

This program offers students a strategic and holistic perspective of IT, Information systems and computing application in ‘real-life’ business and enterprises.
Students attend lectures, tutorials, seminars and group study sessions at the college. In addition, it is expected that at least 2 hours each day will be spent in private studies. Classes will vary and will include class-based instruction; self-study using computer assisted learning strategies, writing assessments and practical work in the labs.
Modules: The programme has four modules:
- Research in Information Technology
- Project Management
- Strategic Information Systems Analysis
- Enterprise software & Business Infrastructure
Assessment: The qualification will be assessed by a combination of internally marked assignments and externally marked examinations. (held every March & September) |
