Information Technology (IT) is not only an interesting field of study, it is an exciting career path as well. The IT department at Manchester International College seeks to provide high quality education in a conducive and dynamic learning environment.

The curricula have been designed specifically to ensure a rich and diverse learning experience, which is aimed at developing the skills and confidence of the student as they gain in knowledge and breadth of understanding of the interrelated disciplines that together form a highly valued qualification. 
The teaching team comprises highly qualified academics and experienced industry professionals with a wide range of skills and research interests. All members of the teaching team have either a PhD qualification or are working towards it.

The main aim of the department is to continue the tradition of providing specialised, modern and comprehensive courses that focus on the emerging technology and its real world applications. We provide a learning environment that supports students with no previous computing experience, whilst being challenging for those who are already familiar with the subject.
